I had just got off of my flight in Shanghai. It went much smoother than I expected, but when I got out to the departure area, my ride was not there waiting for me. I expected someone to be there waiting for me already when I got out of my flight. Since I didn't know what to do, I just stood there waiting for a very long time. I panicked because I thought I would be forgotten and not picked up. But, it turns out that my ride decided to wait a bit longer until he picked me up because it would be a while for me to get out of customs and get my luggage. Being a person that always expects people to be on time I found that moment to be very scary.
